Here are some of the posts I have liked best. These are not perfect by any means; I am not a professional writer, and I think it shows.
Not everything is here — some were left out because they were everyday things, some because they covered ground I had elsewhere. There are posts that are not here because they were of time-imited relevance (such as all the posts where I spent twenty hours tracking down the registration, absentee ballot, and voters’ bill of rights for all fifty states) but otherwise, these are things I am happy with. There are a lot of posts — I really should winnow it down to about twenty.
The uneven chronological distribution reflect the times when I was doing a lot of blogging — 2006 and 2007, very little in 2008 and 2009, and picking up again in 2010 through 2012. My output in 2013 has been less than in the previous two years. The huge gap is because I didn’t update this page for years. I am working to correct that.
One note about inconsistencies in formatting: many of these post before 2013 were imported from Blogger, where I first had WWF. The formatting inconsistencies seem to have occurred then — and I haven’t had the motivation to go in and fix things.
As I said, I am reasonably happy with these. I hope you are, too.
Oh, and one last thing: if you really want to know a fair amount about me, I would suggest starting with “Two More Things About Me” from July 2010, and following the nested links. I would also look at a couple of my “Gratitude posts” listed on a separate page.
